Are images uploaded?
The current workbench uses browser File API, Canvas, and local computation. It does not need to upload your original files to complete these common operations.

Image processing happens in the current browser
Images Forge is built for everyday image processing. Common operations such as compression, crop, conversion, watermark, redaction, stitching, splitting, and PDF export use browser capabilities locally.
Are files saved?
The queue and previews live in the current page state. Refreshing, closing, or clearing the queue removes them from the page.
Anonymous usage stats
Images Forge records anonymous tool events such as tool open, import, process, and download counts. It does not record uploaded image content, filenames, local paths, or IP addresses.
Which tools help privacy?
Redaction, metadata removal, crop, compression, format conversion, and watermarking can help with pre-publishing privacy checks.
What should you still watch?
- Avoid processing sensitive files on untrusted devices or public browsers.
- Clear the queue or close the tab after handling sensitive images.
- If cloud accounts or server-side processing are added later, the page should state that clearly.
Browser support
Format support, very large images, and memory limits differ by browser. If processing fails, try smaller dimensions or a modern browser.
